Delete your account

The short version

You can delete your Knoo account yourself, from inside the app, in the parent zone. You do not need to ask us.
Deleting is immediate and permanent. Everything below goes with it, and we cannot bring it back.
If you no longer have the app, email hello@aiforkids.live from the address you signed up with and we will delete the account for you.

Delete it yourself, in the app

Open Knoo and go to the parent zone.
Enter your PIN.
Open More, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete account.
Confirm twice. The second prompt lists exactly what is about to be erased.

What gets deleted

All of it, for every child on the account:

Your parent account and sign-in
Every child profile — name, age band, interests and progress
Chats and voice transcripts, including anything synced to our servers
Pictures and stories your child made
Safety alerts, screen-time rules and usage history
Your parent PIN

There is no recovery window and no archived copy: the deletion cascades through our database in one step. Backups roll off on their own schedule and are never used to restore a deleted account.

If you subscribe, cancel that separately

Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by us, so deleting your account does not cancel one. Cancel it in the App Store or Google Play first, otherwise billing continues after your data is gone. We are told a subscription exists; we cannot end it on your behalf.

If you cannot get into the app

Email hello@aiforkids.livefrom the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm by reply when it is done. We ask you to write from that address because it is the only way we can tell it is really you — we will not delete a family’s data on an unverified request.

What we keep, and why

Only what the law requires us to: records of payments, which tax and accounting rules oblige us to retain. Those hold a transaction, not your child’s conversations, pictures or profile. Everything else is gone.
